What is the imaging principle of screen printing plate?
As can be seen from the foregoing, the wire mesh is woven from a certain material, and its warp and weft lines intersect to form meshes. When making a plate, a certain thickness of photosensitive glue is coated on the screen and dried, and a photosensitive film is formed on the screen, and then the picture and text positive plate-making negative film is attached to the coated screen and exposed to the plate printing machine. In this way, the graphic part on the screen will not be cured because it is not exposed to light, and the non-graphic part is cured by light. After developing and washing, the uncured photosensitive material in the graphic part is washed away, so that the screen hole is a through hole. The non-graphic part of the photosensitive material solidifies and blocks the mesh. During printing, the screen holes of the graphic part leak ink, but the non-graphic part does not leak ink, so as to obtain printing ink. This is the imaging principle of screen printing plates.

How is the screen printing plate developed and fixed?
The screen printing plate making process is relatively simple, and this feature is more prominent with the continuous emergence of new photosensitive materials. Use modern photosensitive materials to make screen printing plates, and use photolithographic negatives to fit the screen frame coated with photosensitive materials for printing. After printing, put the screen frame in water, warm water or medicinal water for about 10 minutes, and the picture and text will display. Come out (different photosensitive materials have different developing times). Then use a sponge to gently scrub the screen printing plate in water, so that the mesh in the graphic part is basically a through hole. Then pressurized water spray to remove the remaining non-photosensitive material in the graphics and text parts, so that all the screen holes in the graphics and text parts are changed, and finally the water marks are wiped off and dried to produce a screen printing plate.

How to determine the thickness of the screen printing plate?
The thickness of the screen printing plate refers to the thickness after coating the photoresist on the screen. That is: the thickness of the screen printing plate is equal to the sum of the thickness of the screen and the thickness of the photosensitive film.
The thickness of the screen printing plate is determined according to the printing requirements. Usually, the height of the ink layer after printing is closely related to the thickness of the screen printing plate. It is higher. If the screen printing plate used is thinner, the ink layer after printing is lower. In special cases, it is required to use a screen printing plate of thick film photosensitive material with a thickness of up to 1 mm. For example: the thickness of the braille screen printing plate is generally between 0.1-0.250 mm.
When using the direct-to-plate method, the thickness of the screen printing plate is obtained by applying the photoresist several times. The thickness of the screen printing plate can be obtained by coating once, drying once, and circulating in sequence.
When using the indirect plate-making method or the direct plate-making method, the thickness of the screen printing plate is obtained by selecting different thicknesses of photosensitive film according to the printing requirements.

What factors are related to the accuracy of plate making?
When making screen printing plates, the accuracy of plate making is mainly related to the following factors.
(1) Wire mesh, including the type of wire mesh used, the height of the wire mesh, the thickness of the wire diameter, the size of the opening area of the wire mesh, the size of the stretch rate of the wire mesh, the weaving method of the wire mesh, and the color of the wire mesh, etc.
(2) Screen frame, including the material of the screen frame, the size of the screen frame and the strength of the screen frame.
(3) the size of the tension.
