[Vility Printing] Several common printing methods of colour printing!

Lithographic printing (offset printing)

Nowadays, it is customary to call offset printing as lithography, where the graphic and vacant sectors of the printing plate are in a uniform plane, and the graphic is ultimately transferred to the outside of the printed matter through the principle of oil and water dispersion.
Letterpress printing

A printing process in which the image is usually printed above the vacant section and ink is applied around the image, so that the image is reproduced on the outside of the printed material by pressure.
Gravure printing
Gravure printing is the opposite of letterpress printing in that the graphic area is recessed while the vacant area remains flat. The graphic area acts as the ink layer, which is transferred to the outside of the print by the pressure of the printing cylinder, reproducing the print.

Flexographic printing (letterpress printing)
Flexo printing was originally named after the volatile liquid colour ink made from aniline dyes, and the plates were made from rubber plates. However, with the growth of technology, the plates and inks have changed considerably and aniline printing has become the flexo printing of today.

Filter printing
Screen printing is a good example of filter printing. The ink bleeds through the mesh of the fabric (the graphic) and is reproduced as a graphic on the outside of the substrate.

Speciality printing
Depending on the substrate and the process, special printing can be divided into: gold and silver printing; aluminium stamping; high and low pressure printing; die-cutting and creasing; metal printing; self-adhesive printing; varnishing; three-dimensional printing; foam printing; inkjet printing; holographic printing, etc.
